One of the negative issued about Intel processor is about the price, their rivals, AMD known as the cheaper price. But, there are great news in July 2010. It’s about Intel processor price,  i saw an interesting news in one of major hardware site entitled “Intel Processor Price Cuts for July 2010 “.

It’s one of our admired times of the year – CPU amount cuts! Intel has adapted it processor amount list, and there are new models alien and some earlier ones accepting a amount reduction.

AMD has revealed its first chip design for a combined chip-microprocessor hybrid graphics with codename “Fusion” at Computex. AMD will show the hardware chip that can work on this year and launched the Accelerated Processing Units / APU (not CPU or GPU more, because the APU is a combination of both).

Nvidia is currently only producing the GPU, while Intel has started a combined GPU-CPU chip with atoms. But AMD plans to combine graphics components qualified with a fast CPU too. They hope this new chip would be cheap, low-power and fast performance. AMD has been preparing for this since the acquisition of ATI in 2006.

If AMD’s success with Fusion project, it will be difficult for Intel and Nvidia to pursue them.

Microsoft also will support this by providing the  DirextX  Fusion multimedia software that can work in Fusion. According to AMD chips APU will be launched in early summer 2011.

Intel revealed their plans to produce processors with many cores  code  named “Knights Corner” which was produced with 22 nanometer technology with x86-based  Many Integrated Core (MIC) architecture, which allows many small processors working in parallel. More than 50 cores will be accommodated in a single chip will be. This new chip design based on single-core processor chip 48 Cloud computer and Larrabee graphics card that was canceled by Intel .

Currently no release date certain, but Intel has deployed the kit to developers so maybe soon well.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 465

It’s already June, based on some news, NVIDIA will launch their new GPU, NVidia GeForce GTX 465 earlier this month. There are some manufacturer that would have produce this GPU, ASUS is one of them.

The GeForce GTX 465 offers 607 MHz graphics clock speed;  1215 shader clock;  256 bit memory interface; 3.2 GHz memory clock; I GB DDR5 memory and 352 NVIDIA CUDA cores.

There are also slower version of this Graphics Card, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 which use 768MB DDR5 memory, that’s just little bit slower, i think it’s solution for more economic GTX 46X series.

Lenovo was knows as one of Desktop PC manufacturer. Recently Lenovo planned to launch their new desktop PC in June 2010, that is Lenovo H320 that have slim body and shaped like a tower. This desktop pc is small but it’s have quite good specifications.

CPU, RAM, GRAPHICS :

The Lenovo Slim Tower H320 supported with Intel Core i3 processor, 8 GB DDR3 RAM. I thinks it was good specification for such office multitasking work. It’s seems that this desktop pc not intended for hard graphics or video work because it’s just use intel integrated graphics chipsets.

STORAGE  & OPTICAL DRIVE :

How about the storage? This Slim Tower equipped with large hard drive space : 640 GB.  In addition this desktop pc also equipped with DVD Burner.

On of special features in this motherboard is DualBIOS technology : this features will provide more BIOS protection with reserve BIOS. The other features is Hybrid Silent-Pipe 2 Design, it’s for heat conductor in VRM and Chipset and then fan was not needed.

Gigabyte penchant for the high number of phases also exist in the form of phase ’24 ‘VRM (capacity is currently not known). There is also support for On / Off Charge, which allows USB devices will be supported by a particular USB port is turned off when the motherboard – Gigabyte can exploit this by providing 3x more power for this USB port.
